Our Services

Our services have a combined Teaching, Mentoring and Mediation focus.

Supplementary Schools

We run Supplementary Schools that provide qualified teachers and pastoral workers that allow us to offer core subjects, help with homework, identity & personal awareness training and we also provide educational trips.

Walter Tull Sports and Art Development Association is operating a supplementary school based at The Park Centre, Daventry Road, Knowle, Bristol. The school helps to raise the achievement of young people from many backgrounds and areas in Bristol. It will be an ongoing programme for those in Key Stages 2, 3 and 4.

The school helps to enhance students’ academic and pastoral skills through our transitional programme. Our teachers deliver daily lessons in core subjects and are trained specialists in giving pastoral guidance and support. These include workshops in Art Therapy, Sport, Music, Cultural Studies and many more.

Mediation and Pastoral Support Services

The Walter Tull Sports and Arts Development Association has a team of experienced pastoral workers, mentors and qualified teachers who are able to engage with young people and address any issues that may affect their educational progress. Our mentors will engage with schools via mentoring programmes.

Our crisis intervention methods are a 24-hour service. This is a holistic process which deals with all unforeseen mediation and pastoral elements for young people, families and schools.

Events Management

Our mission is to use "The SMART Principle" (Sport Music and the Arts) to engage, empower and educate primarily young people and adults regardless of their ability, background or culture thereby providing tools for lifelong learning and living.

To assist us with our mission we run a wide range of events. These events range from Conferences, Corporate Entertaining Events, Sporting Events, Music Events, Fun Day Outings and many more other types of Events. Running these events allows us to:

  • raise awareness of issues that we identify as barriers to positive lifelong learning
  • educate and empower young people, parents and the community to promote continuous improvement
  • celebrate the successes of our organisation and the achievements of the recipients of the services that we deliver
